Rebecca Budig Is Here To Stay

As many of our readers know, Rebecca has been playing Taylor Hayes for the past year. And while she’s been dealing with a lot of heartache – including getting dumped by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) – and trying to find her place in this fictional town of Los Angeles.

And while Rebecca has gotten a lot of criticism for her role, it seems like the producers have decided to keep her own as she has a new storyline brewing with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “I’ve tried to, but I’m sorry, I don’t. She’s too young for one thing. She and Brooke should be roughly the same age, given their history in the story and the ages of Thomas & Steffy. I think she’s a good actress, but this isn’t the role for her.”

Another critic of the show wrote, “I also think it was a mistake to bring her in after Krista Allen. Krista brought such a fun energy to Taylor that is lacking now. I know they wanted to bring her back with that whole “broken heart syndrome” storyline that would have been hard to sell with someone with Krista’s energy.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Rebecca was more believable as a Taylor suffering so badly from a broken heart that she’d believe she was dying. But now, I don’t know, there’s this gloomy, Debbie-downer energy over the role that I think is going to need a big reset to the character.”

It goes without saying that fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next on B&B.
