It looks like “Steam” fans are not getting the reunion they’ve always wanted on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Amid Liam Spencer and Hope Logan’s renewed romance, “Steam” fans are once again rallying for Liam and Steffy Forrester to find their way back to each other, even if it means reigniting yet another love triangle.

However, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is not too keen on going down that road again. In a social media post, Scott Clifton defends his co-star for not wanting to revisit that storyline again.

“Jacqui is a consummate professional and a dream coworker,” the Liam portrayer responded to a fan. “Two things are true at once: she has expressed the (very reasonable) personal/creative opinion that ‘Steam’ has run its course.”

However, Clifton clarified that Wood will definitely give it her all if “The Bold and the Beautiful” producers ask them to go for another round of “Steam.”

“Yet if Mr. Bell wrote Liam and Steffy getting back together again, she would give it 110%,” Clifton continued.

Meanwhile, fans shared their thoughts about Clifton’s shocking revelation that Wood doesn’t want a Liam and Steffy reunion for now.
